Today in worship, we continue with our sermon series on the Minor Prophets. Throughout this series, we will examine different prophets in their contexts and hear about what they have to say to us today. Today, we will explore the book of Jonah by looking at Jonah 1:1-10 and 17, 3:1-5, and 4:1-5. The story of Jonah is short, but incredibly relevant to all Christians who seek to share Christ's righteousness but struggle with those whom God loves and wants to redeem. We will ask ourselves when we struggle to share God's love, and ignore the promises of God for other people, and how we too can participate in God's redeeming purposes for the whole world.
