Follow Me to the Cross
Follow Me to the Cross - Jesus Takes Your Place (Traditional)
This week, we’ll talk about Substitutionary Atonement theory by looking at Isaiah 53:4-5 and Hebrews 4:14-16. We will think together about the complications and the beauty of Jesus’s sacrifice on our behalf and rest in gratitude for God’s grace and love. For deeper study during this Lenten journey, we encourage you to read the book, “Savior – What the Bible Says About the Cross” by Magrey R. deVega, which the pastors will be referencing throughout this series.
Series Information

Join us for our Lenten sermon series, “Follow Me to the Cross,” which invites us to explore the different ways that the cross of Christ brings redemption or Atonement (at-one-ment with God). As we journey with Jesus to his death and then his resurrection, we’ll seek to more deeply understand the ways that the cross ultimately stands as an expression of God’s love for us.
