Today in Worship, we conclude our Advent/Christmas sermon series, “Declutter Christmas.” Today in our one combined service, we will think together about Cleaning Up the Christmas Clutter as we read Luke 2:15-20. Though everyone else is taken in and distracted by the signs of Christmas, Mary holds Christmas’ message in her heart. We seek to embody her faith as we live in the season of Christmas and enter our new year.
Series Information
Advent is the season of the Christian calendar that turns our hearts towards the anticipated arrival of Christmas. During Advent, God calls us to prepare our hearts for the infant Savior, Jesus Christ, by removing anything that stands in the way of his making a home within us.
