Celebration Through Memory - Contemporary

Thanks for joining us for our online contemporary worship! for 01-24-2021!

Today in worship we will continue our series on the Healing Practice of Celebration based loosely on the book The Healing Practice of Celebration by Dr. Elaine Heath. Dr. Heath reminds us that throughout Scripture, there are occasions to celebrate, even in the face of difficulty, darkness, uncertainty, and failure. God is with us, and God’s goodness is stronger than the darkness of the world. Today we will engage in Celebration through Memory by remembering that even when circumstances are difficult, God is still present with us. We will hear from 1 Corinthians 11:23-26 and talk about how the celebration of Communion is a way of remembering God’s provision through good times and bad.
