Adult Ministries
Suntree United Methodist Church is committed to the development and implementation of ministries for the purpose of teaching and caring for God's people. Suntree offers a variety of learning opportunities to assist in nurturing and developing a personal and communal relationship with God.
Adult Sunday School
There are 10 different Sunday School classes for Adults, from Singles to newly married to career oriented to the more mature crowd. Various classes are held at 8, 9:15, 9:30 and 11 am.
Disciple
Bible Study Program
These 30-34 week intensive Bible study courses are taught at various times during the week by trained leaders. We offer Disciple I, II, III, and IV and the new study "Jesus in the Gospels."
Precepts
Bible Study
This in-depth Bible study is lead by one of our most talented teachers using a lecture/interactive format with video and discussion.
Daytime
Bible Studies
Bible studies are offered at various times throughout the year for those seeking fellowship, an opportunity to study, and grow spiritually.
Men's
Bible Study/Prayer Breakfast
This group of men meets weekly for breakfast, study and prayer.
Small
Group Ministry
Suntree has a vital small group ministry known as CONNECTIONS. Their mission is to "connect people with God, supportive friends, and God's purpose for life". These groups meet weekly in members' homes or at the church and new groups start periodically. To learn more, contact the church office.
TNT (Time and Talent)
Our Senior Adults participate in a monthly rotation of luncheons and trips, which provide great opportunities to be in fellowship.
